Detached Garage Studios was created to share the imagery of live music blended with my somewhat gritty style of photography.

Based in Modesto, California, I try to capture the emotion of the live experience on typically protrait-esque images of musicians throughout their sets. I also try to aesthetically edit my images to fit a band.

I try to get input from bands that I shoot more often about how they want the tone of the images to be. and that collaboration of ideas has helped me make better images every time I shoot.

From live gig images to studio style promotional portraits, I try to blend the energy and vision of the band into every photo.
